At the start of the 1980s the Ordelmans family started producing separation sheets for the meat processing industry. A company was founded and named Namsos (a place in Norway), and premises were leased locally. Towards the end of the 1980s Namsos changed hands and the decision was made to build new premises. In 1991 the new location was up and running and the company name also changed, to Perfon BV (Per = Perforate, Fo = Film, N = Namsos).
At the end of the 1990s Perfon BV outgrew its pioneering phase and a strong partner was required to help realise further growth. As such Perfon BV was taken over in 1999 by the Oerlemans Packaging Group. Since then significant investment has been made in new machines, and in building a new warehouse. Presently Perfon BV is a well-run company with state-of-the–art machinery with which it can gainfully serve its existing, and future, clients.
